David Wang is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Computer Science at NYU. He received a Master of Interactive Technology degree from NYU. Since 2008, he washas been a software engineer, developing various applications, ranging from business-related applications, to research artifacts, and video games. He also waswas also a technical reviewer on several video game development books, as well as a technical consultant. Before that, he was in the Ph.D. program at NYU, he worked as a faculty member atin the computer science department at the University of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, China. He believes that the ambient technology and AI will disrupt human civilization at all levels: individual, social, and cultural levels. It is our responsibility to be aware of how technology could compactimpact humanity overall.
