10Ten private residences designed by Garegin Yeghoyan, the professor of the International Academy of Architecture IAAM-МААМMAAM, demonstrates the development of the international style within the context of the Armenian's ancient culture.
These buildings, by analogy with islands, are outlined against the natural environment and the structured chaos of vernacular fabric. The antithesis of modernist forms in concrete and metal on the one hand, alondg with the surface of natural stone, --the ultimate building material in Armenia, --on the other, is the unique feature of this architecture.
