I am interested in the CELTA certification for many reasons, one of which is to improve my teaching skills. I have been teaching for over thirteen years at the Karachi American School where I had the opportunity to teach students of different age groups with different abilities and backgrounds.

One of the main requirements of teaching is to be proficient in English. Though I feel my oral English and writing skills are good, I would like to further improve my strengths. This course will help me with a variety of teaching practices such as designing and running lessons more effectively, writing better letters and report card narratives, and official documents. It will also help me communicate better with my students, colleagues, and parents, and above all, it will make me feel confident and help me prove my abilities as a teacher within the classroom environment, as well as outside.

The CELTA Certification is accepted by organizations that employ teachers throughout the world, and this will allow me to live and work abroad and pursue a highly rewarding teaching career.
