COMMUNICATION TO ALL STAKEHOLDERS, PARTNERS AND CLIENTS
In May 2020, the Municipal Council of Maputo communicated Casa Minha ato halt of all project
activities and declared a doubtful embargo of all on-going works.
Casa Minha was surprised by the decision and deplored the circumstances that droveled to the
embargo, while rapidly startedstarting a series of demarches to clarify the context of the decision and
ensure the respect of all commitments of the project by all stakeholders – in particular, the
Municipal Council of Maputo.
It has been almost a year and we are now pleased to announce that the President of Maputo
Municipal Council, Mr Eneas Comiche, has recently announced the release of the embargo and
instructed us to pursue our activities.
Casa Minha is very satisfied with the content of the formal decision and we would like to thank
all stakeholders, partners and clients that trusted Casa Minha and supported us during all this
period.
Casa Minha has always been determined to respect all commitments and will now focus on the
most urgent ones while we reassess the feasibility of our company and reformulate a new plan
for a potential phase IV.
In the next few weeks we will progressively reestablish contacts with all former and potentially
new clients, stakeholders and partners as we will need all their support to overcome the
enormous challenges of relaunching our activities in this particularly difficult context.
