Background & Aim: Strategic quality planning (SQP) is an essential concept, which in health care involves figuring out and assemblyassembling the requirements of four customers: patients, employers, health care physicians, and health care support services staff person. Patient satisfaction is an important measurement that displays patients’ experiences ofexperience in regard to the quality of the services provided. So, the foremost goal of the present study was to studyanalyse the impact of SQP on the patients’patient satisfaction within the private tertiary healthcare facilities.
Patients & Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out on four hundred patients in the private tertiary healthcare sector in Egypt viaover the durationcourse of one 12 months, from the first1st of November 2018 to the end of October 2019. All patients were subjectedasked to fill a questionnaire which divided into a first part for personal data, and thea second part ofwith independent & dependent variables for SQP and patient satisfaction.
Results: There was a statistically significant relationship between SQP and patient satisfaction. The multiple regression models showed that training, commitment to the quality standards and guidelines for medical practice, the provision of medical care, according to patient needs, providedand ensuring that all hospital facilities and resources arewere used in the best way for patient serviceto meet the patients' needs had a significant effect on patient satisfaction. While continuousContinuous improvement had a non-significant effect on it.
Conclusion: This study concluded that implementing SQP would be ofhave a positive impact on the patients’patient satisfaction within the private healthcare sector.
