This concept note is meant forin immediate response for Eriksto the ERIKS supported project in MP, target villages of the project under Pandhana and Khalwa blocks due to Covid-19the COVID-19 outbreak. The planned project activities have come to a halt as a result of COVID 19the COVID-19 pandemic, as the government has initially announced 21 daysa 21-day lockdown and later extended it tofor another 19 days until May 3rd, 2020. There arewere complete restrictions for people to move outon people's movement and heavy penalty has beenpenalties were enforced on those that breakbreaking the normsrules. It is painful to seesee the struggle targetthat the target community is undergoing, especially daily wageswage laborers, children, elderly personpersons and widows and SAM & MAM children. It has been discussed by the team to approach ERIKS for special approval to utilize some funds for helpingto help vulnerable groups using the budgetary provisions of the Karuna MCH-ITD Project.
