My name is Marlin Villatoro Flores. I am an 11th grader at Grand Island Senior High. I attend St Mary’s Cathedral parish in Grand Island, Ne. I have a younger brother, it’sand there is only my mom, andmy brother and Ime. I enjoy playing soccer, watching Netflix series, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am requesting to receive the sacrament of confirmation this year. I want to be confirmed because I want mya closer relationship with Jesus to be closer. I want to take my faith more seriously., and I want my catholicCatholic faith to be part of my life forever.

I have done many things to be prepared for my confirmation. I have attended all my classes. I have my saint picked out my saint, who is St. Frances Xavier Cabrini. I adrimeadmire what theyshe did; she dedicated most of her life taking care of the poor, uneducated, sick, and the immigrants. I have completed all my service hours; and, during the time I didhave done that, I felt good helping out my community.

Once I am confirmed., I will try to go to mass on sundaysSundays or wednesdaysWednesdays. I will learn more about my faith. I promise I’ll carry about my faith for the rest of my life. and I will contiunecontinue to do good in my community.
