We had a visit by Dr. Narayan (Nephrologist)(nephrologist). He adviseadvised of her being on a total liquid diet for the next 2 days so her colon can be cleaned for them to do a colonoscopy.

Next, in order to perform a colonoscopy, he will notify the nurses as well as the dietitian to put her on a strict renal liquid diet and that the kitchen staff follow the instructions.

He planplans on consulting with the Anesthesiologistanesthesiologist to see whether she can handle the anesthesia. (Couldn’t give me the name of the Anesthesiologist) anesthesiologist).

He will also consult with Dr. Mahajin (Cardiologist)(cardiologist), based on the Anesthesiologistsanesthesiologists recommendation, if they say no, then this will further hold out on any treatment or surgery and from there it will be solely based on Dr. mahajinMahajin discretion whether or not to perform the Cathcath surgery and Anesthesiaanesthesia will follow his protocol despite if any or none riskrisks are involved. If Anesthesiologist clearthe anesthesiologist clears her, then only he’d be able to do Colonoscopya colonoscopy then the Cathcath.

At the moment, there won’t be any surgery schedule for another few days or even a week until all of above has been done.
