One factor, one of them being of an environmental such asnature: weather. In 2005 the commercial Seafood Industriesseafood industries along the Louisiana Coastlinecoastline were devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Not only wholesale and Retailretail seafood markets were destroyed, but a majority of the charter fishing boats as wellwere equally ruined. Before that happened, Louisiana produced more Seafoodseafood than any other state. Lots of jobs were lost. The industry consists ofinvolves various stages such as harvesting, processing and marketing. Much of the market was lost at one time, losing millions of dollars. Starting on, starting from the docsdocks, where fishermen sold their cagecages to the boats and the processing plantplants. Another problem is oil spills and pollution caused by the storm. Causing environmental worries. Experience high prices for a while andstorms. These disasters pose a huge threat on the environment but also affect local fishermen and their financial stability. These natural incidents incur in a sheer increase in primary resources' prices, which in turn cause a substantial loss of money and, subsequently of jobs, for fisherman. The fisherman who were impacted bowelby such disasters however bow to return stronger than ever before withover time.
