Results
We developed the fully integrated system for vessel companies, it. It consists of a HeadQuarterheadquarter (onshore) server, Vessel Serversvessel servers and an iPad application.
BL4SEA is an online and remote service for inspections and surveys on board all kinds of vessels and units.
Using the iPad offline app allows the vessel crew to handle inspections while inon the sea and later sync with the server through a satellite channel, with guaranteed delivery service.
Inside a system there is a custom survey engine we developed, which allows HQ Usersusers to set up inspections as a set of Pagespages and Questionsquestions of different type (Texttypes (text, Numbernumber, Datedate, Freeformfree-form, GPS Coordinatescoordinates, Takingtaking pictures with iPads, etc). A robust workflow engine we developed is used for remote inspection results verification by the auditors, who are located onshore.
