One of my favorite elements about being social is my love for talking and communicating with others. My dream career is to pursue anything that has to do with advertising or digital media. I am passionate about these fields of study as I feel as if it combines my love for takingtalking to others and my infatuation with media. Indiana University has an exceptional program for Mediamedia and I am positive that If I were attending IU I would be able to pursue my passion with others while also offering a great deal of creativity, diversity, and positivity. Although I am sure that I’m truly devoted to my love for media, I have encountered challenges that have made me question my major. Many times when I tell others about my career interest, they question me and ask if I am sure that I want to pursue a career in media. Often others tell me that a career in Mediamedia is not practical. Initially, when I heard these comments, it really discouraged me. Overall, how I overcame this obstacle is I realized there are plenty of amazing people who have successfully made a career in Mediamedia. I did my research and I came across countless of success stories from others and it truly inspired me. Ultimately, I came to the conclusion that one day, that will be me.
