There are a lot of stereotypes about black women in the entertainment industry; however, one in particular is called, “Angry Black Woman.”. Angry Black Woman means that black women are disrespectful, don’t have any manners, and lose their temper fast. A lot of movies and TV shows like "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" and "Being Mary Jane" portray black women like that, but there is so much more to black women than that. This stereotype dismisses any black woman who ever dareddares to be herself. There is one artist who embodies the lives of black women and encourages them to be their authentic selves through her album, "Lemonade". Her name is ‪Beyoncé‬. ‪Beyoncé‬ opens ‪the doors‬ and gives black women the authority and voice to refine that label.
