In the past, Egypt had its clear and unique identity that reflected its characteristics, and socio-cultural attributes. However, today, this identity ishas faded and is nearly completely wiped out by Western notions erasing our ideas and thoughts. Consequently, the field of Furniturefurniture design suffered from multi-cultural fluctuations that emerged as a series of different identities. InAt the same time, the contemporary movement is known to have quickly achieved uniqueness and creativity.
At this stage, Wadjet design came as an attempt to emphasize our cultural identity through reviving the ancient Egyptian vocabulary with its magnificent aesthetic values and visual forms, in a unique fusion suitable for our present time.
