In the book and the movie The Outsiders they’rethere are tons of similarities and differences. It starts out with a group of Greaser’sgreasers and Soc’ssocs who both hated each other. Cherry Valance has a boyfriend named Randy who areand they're both socs,. But they get in a fight and Randy takes it out on Ponyboy, who is a greaser. He ends up trying to drown him, so Johnny Cade, who is ponyboy'sPonyboy's friend ends up stabbing, stabs and killingkills Randy.The and the boys end up runningrun away. There is a fire in a church and johnnyJohnny tries to save the children, and does, but gets hurt himself and ends up dying. They have a rumble with the socs, withwhich the gang and end up winninggreasers win. It's not over yet though, because Dallas is so heartbroken about johnnyJohnny he ends up committing suicide.
