When someone gives me a clarifying response, I will think about my problem, such as “Did I say something that was not clear?”,. but tThe fact is that the people just want to make one another sure of what do theyou mean. I am always doing this because I learnt British English before, and the question style, wording, and slang are different, so I have to make sure that I understooand what theyis meant.
