Appearance and Job Performance: SPC Araujo, your uniform and boots have met the standard set fort in AR 670-1; continue to keep up the good work. Your performance during the month of September has been (out standing). tThe company mission was to support the battalion during the field exercise. You did not hesitate and wait for me to tell you what we needed to do,; you took the initiative by making sure that all your equipments wereas fully mission ready. While we were in the the field, you were in charge of one of the fuel points, in which you dispense over 7,000 gallons of JP8, with little or no supervision. As your supervisor, I can say that I was very pleased with your performance,; I expect to see more of these qualities from you, especially since you are a team leader and have Ssoldiers that are looking up to you for guidance.
Area to sustain: Continued to set standard and raisinge the bar; you will only get better if you practice to do the right thing at all times.
Area to improve: Now that you are in a leadership position, I need you to start acting like an leader; at times you fall short, like you don't remember what is your rolle is in the squad.
*Physical Fitness: In order to performance your job effectively, you have to be physically ready, so it is very important for you to stay on top of your physical fitness. In our line of work, we bare not be able to perform PT five times per week. tThis is where you have to put in extra work on your own.
Area to sustain: On more than one occasion, you have volunteered to lead PRT session tfor the platoon,; theise type of step takes guts; especially around your peers and getting everyone to participate and performed check exercise correctly.
Area to improve: I need you to start to get involved in the PRT manual more, so that you can be more familiar with the different exercises.
*Leadership: You have the potential to become a good leader, but ist starts with you as a person. First, you have to respect everyone you work with and know how to separate friendship from work. Sometimes you have to be a listener and a problem solver; beeing a leader isn't just giving orders to people; you have to earn respect and trust.
Area to sustain: I can say that I have seen a major growth within your leader skills, but it is going to take time for it to fully develop.
Area to improve: Continued to improved your leadership skills by taking on more challenging missions, daily tasking, etc.
*Communication/Accountability: Continued to keep me informed of your daily activelity when I am not around and keeping accountability of everyone within the squad and their whereabouts at all times.
