Many programs have already been started to provide water for those in need. The Follow the Liters mission uses a filter called a LifeStraw to filter out 99% of all contamination in unclean water, without putting more contaminants in it like our current filtration system does. We can raise awareness for the need of water throughout our schools and community by holding fundraisers and events to purchase these straws and send them to thirsty countries. This would allow us to use a clean filter, and be able to drink clean water wherever we go on this planet. If we can create a group of people willing to carry out this mission, we can gain momentum and take it as far as we possibly can in the world.
