When I used to work as a member of the teaching staff of the Al-Baath University, life was good and dignified. I was happy iamong my collentourague,s and among my friends at the Uuniversity from all cdenominfessations and religions. I used to reside in the Homs/ -Bab Al Sebaa area, where I was renting a house.
I was living in that area a quiet life, in that area and I was cgoming to get marryied. In 2011, I was suffering from Ssectarian harassment. That region had been suffereding ma lot ofny subversive and terrorist acts and armed clashes.
Overnight, and due to terrorist attacks, I was driven out of my house without taking anyothing but the clothes I was wearing, and I headed to my parents’ home in the village of Nomra Castle village, close to the Al Hosn Ffortress, from which the streetoad to Homs was targeted by snipers.
