Sensor networks, widely used in security areas. Sensitive buildings, such as power plants and telecommunications facilities can be used to controlled by thiese sensors. Power consumption is an important ingredient in WSNs. In this paper, the power consumption of the WSNs has somewhat been reduced and a new scheme using Hamming codes for this issue has been presented. Using these Hamming codes, some errors that maky bes made with channel can be detected and corrected. Therefore, the data redundancy along original data has been sent to the receiver using the FEC method, which is used for error detection and correction.
