The main points standing out oin the lecture wereas athe differentiation between what should be considered "legal" graffiti art and what should be considered a criminal practice. aAll those actions pointed out by the lecturer regarding "criminal" activities, were actions that are not allowed, or withoust authorization from owners of the property, the government, andor other regulating authorities. I would hate having any of my property spray-painted, but, on the other hand, I might like to have the back wall with a nice, well-done graffiti image. on the basck wall. Basically, it splits the difference between those twhato do NOT have authorization and those who DO HAVE. Those who do have authorization can even get quite a bit of money from it, but, it's a long and hard process to obtain these authorizations. I tottally agree and support this ideia, because, without control, any action can becausome chaotic, and those who practice it should be responsible for their actions and thus,e consequences of those actions. While there are those who support free graffiti art, being decriminalized, there are those who do not like it, and might be offended by it... So, all in all, it´s about having respect for the others, and respthectingr private property. aInd, in athe near future, why not have reserved places for those specific art expressions, (which, as the lecturer pointed out, can be done in areas that have even had non-authorized graffiti on them…)? transformThings way, something "offensive" or "ugly" could be transformed into a nice, bright piece of art where the public in general public will be pleased to see it. Respect for other´s opinions generates respect for your own opinions and differences.
