As you are aware, I'm at the moment on a sick leave from work, but I needed to write this email before you put in place next year's Ta'sTA's class list.
At present, I'm working as a 1:1 special needsspecial-needs TA in year 6. I found work as a 1:1 TaTA challenging , and it has affected my mental well- being.
Previously, for the last 10 years I have been working as a general TaTA. In my opinion, I work better as a class TaTA because most of the children in class benefit from my expertise and knowledge, and also the class teacher can utilise my skills better in a classroom, as I'm proactive too. Our aim is to help the children to thrive and deliver utmost the best for them.
Presently, I work four mornings,. I'm willing to work three full days if that means I can get back to working in class as a general Ta andTA while also fulfilling my role as a specialist TaTA.
