Loy Krathong is one of the ThailandThailand's most important festival, thefestivals. The exact date of the holiday is followed byfollows the lunar calendar, so the date is different every year. Krathong is a special Thai floating sculpture that is particular to the holiday. Thais will gather up attogether by the waterside to light up the Krathong, makemaking a wish and sendsending the Krathong into the water.
