During the pre-election campaign, the "peace program" of the “Congress-PPA" alliance presented to the society, which is based on the concession option of the Karabakh conflict settlement, the "Madrid principles", gradually becomes clear to the citizens. This was told by the parliamentary candidate of the Alliance, ANC Vice-President Aram Manukyan at the "Hayatsk" press club.
We inquired how and why Azerbaijan must agree to the fulfillment of the "Madrid principles" now. "If Azerbaijan does not agree, then why is it negotiating?", asked Aram Manukyan,. "But is Azerbaijan negotiating?" to the question, he answered, "Then what ihas Azerbaijan been doing in these past twenty years? " They are negotiating but saying quite a different thing to their public. Azerbaijan cannot sit around the table with the superpowers and be engaged in formalities. If Armenia were the initiator, Azerbaijan wilould stay alone against the pressure of superpowers. No Aliyev can stand these pressures which the superpowers, the international community and the co-chairs can present.
